Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Professional to join our Mumbai-based engineering hub. In this role, you will move beyond simple model building to architecting Intelligent Systems—autonomous, reasoning agents that integrate into our core business fabric. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products, from R&D and prompt engineering to large-scale production deployment using MLOps.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement Agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI to automate complex multi-step reasoning tasks.
- Model Development: Fine-tune Open Source LLMs (Llama, Mistral) and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines utilizing vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate).
- Full-Stack AI Integration: Work closely with backend teams to integrate AI models into microservices using Python (FastAPI/Flask) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- MLOps & Optimization: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning (MLOps) to ensure model reliability, monitoring, and seamless versioning in production.
- Data Strategy: Collaborate with Data Engineers to build robust data pipelines that feed high-quality, real-time data into intelligent systems.
Technical Requirements
- Programming: Mastery of Python and familiarity with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Generative AI: Deep understanding of Transformers, Prompt Engineering, and AI Guardrails (e.g., NeMo Guardrails).
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (SageMaker), Azure AI, or Google Vertex AI.
- Tools: Experience with orchestration tools like LangChain and versioning tools like MLflow or DVC.
- Mumbai Specific: Familiarity with the local startup ecosystem or experience working in major Mumbai tech hubs (BKC, Powai, or Andheri) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (IIT/NIT/BITS or equivalent global experience preferred).
- Proven track record of deploying at least 2–3 AI-driven products to a live environment with active users.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
