Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and data-driven Content Strategist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller with a strategic mindset, capable of developing, implementing, and managing a content plan that drives brand awareness, engages our target audiences, and supports our business goals. You will be responsible for creating compelling content that resonates with both parking space owners and drivers, positioning Our Parking Space as the leading solution in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with marketing and business objectives. This includes creating a content calendar, identifying key themes, and mapping content to different stages of the customer journey (awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention).

  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats, including blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, e-books, social media posts, video scripts, infographics, email newsletters, and website copy. You may be required to write and edit content yourself or manage external writers and agencies.

  • Audience Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand our target audiences—property owners (homeowners, businesses, property managers) and drivers. Identify their pain points, motivations, and the channels they use to find information.

  • SEO & Keyword Strategy: Lead our content efforts for search engine optimization (SEO). Conduct keyword research, analyze search trends, and ensure all content is optimized to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media analytics. Provide regular reports on key metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions, etc.) and use data to refine and improve the content strategy.

  • Brand Voice & Consistency: Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all content channels. Develop and manage content guidelines to ensure all communications reflect the company’s values and brand identity.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with product launches, sales initiatives, and overall company messaging.

  • Content Distribution: Develop a distribution plan for all content to maximize its reach and impact. This includes promoting content through social media, email marketing, partnerships, and other channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a related role, preferably within a tech, real estate, or B2C/B2B marketplace company.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive business results.

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • A portfolio of published work is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with video content strategy and production.

  • Familiarity with the real estate or mobility/transportation industry.

  • Experience in managing social media content and campaigns.

  • Knowledge of A/B testing and other conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
