We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer I to join our distributed team. This is a “freshers-welcome” role designed for someone who is hungry to learn, eager to ship code, and ready to make a tangible impact on the future of urban mobility.

The Role

As an entry-level member of our engineering team, you won’t just be “fixing bugs”—you will be building the core services that power our marketplace and mobile apps. You will work under the mentorship of senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write Clean Code: Develop and maintain high-quality, testable code across our backend and frontend stacks.
• Collaborate Remotely: Participate in daily stand-ups, pair programming sessions, and sprint planning via Slack, Zoom, and GitHub.
• Problem Solve: Investigate and resolve technical issues, optimizing application performance and user experience.
• Feature Ownership: Assist in the end-to-end development of new features, from initial database design to UI implementation.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to our engineering blog and internal knowledge base.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Class of 2024 or 2025 preferred).
• Foundational Skills: Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Tech Interests: Exposure to modern languages like JavaScript (Node.js/React), Python, or Go.
• Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a major plus.
• Remote Ready: You are self-disciplined, an excellent written communicator, and comfortable working in a 100% remote environment.
• Portfolio: A GitHub profile or personal projects that demonstrate your ability to build and deploy applications.
