We are currently seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer for one of our prestigious clients in Luxembourg to help drive their digital transformation and cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Role Overview

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with DevOps and Security teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our client’s cloud infrastructure in a highly regulated European environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design: Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automation (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Migration: Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud while ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Security & Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices, identity management (IAM), and encryption to meet Luxembourg’s stringent data protection (GDPR) and financial regulations.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Set up proactive monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog) and optimize cloud costs through resource right-sizing.
• CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with developers to integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Cloud Platforms: Proven experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) or Microsoft Azure.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Networking: Strong understanding of VPCs, Subnets, Load Balancers, and DNS.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French or German is a significant advantage in the Luxembourg market.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
