We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Annotator to join our team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for labeling and categorizing vast amounts of data (text, image, audio, or video) to help “teach” AI models how to recognize patterns and make accurate decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Labeling: Tag and annotate datasets using techniques like bounding boxes, polygon mapping, and text classification.
- Quality Control: Review and self-verify labels to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency with project guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning engineers to refine annotation rules.
- Reporting: Identify and report edge cases or ambiguities in the data that could confuse the AI model.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BCA, and BFA are highly valued in Mumbai tech firms).
- Skills: Strong observational skills and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high precision.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with basic computer operations and labeling tools (e.g., Labelbox, Encord).
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi (knowledge of Marathi is a plus for regional NLP projects).
