Role Overview

As a GEO Strategist at Sky Plus News, you will lead the transition from traditional search to Answer Engine Visibility. You won’t just be ranking for keywords; you will be optimizing our news ecosystem so that Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini recognize, trust, and cite our reporting as the definitive source for regional and global news.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Visibility & Citation Growth: Increase our “Share of Voice” across generative engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).
• Semantic Content Architecture: Restructure news articles into “LLM-friendly” chunks using high-density facts, authoritative quotes, and direct answer formats.
• Regional Taxonomy Management: Maintain a proprietary database of regional entities (locations, local leaders, e-mobility trends) to ensure hyper-local search dominance in Varanasi and beyond.
• Technical GEO: Implement advanced Schema.org (Article, NewsArticle, FAQ) to boost machine-readability and “Retrieval-Augmented Generation” (RAG) performance.
• Sentiment & Brand Grounding: Monitor how AI engines perceive Sky Plus News and execute strategies to ensure our reporting is cited with high sentiment and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years in SEO/Digital Marketing with a deep understanding of LLM behavior.
• Technical Edge: Familiarity with structured data, NLP concepts, and how AI crawlers (like OAI-SearchBot) interact with news sites.
