About the Role
At OurParkingSpace, we are redefining urban mobility. Our platform manages real-time parking data, automated gate integrations, and seamless digital payments for thousands of users. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and scale the “paved road” for our development teams. You will be responsible for the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring that our parking services remain online 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Orchestration: Build and optimize deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to ensure rapid, bug-free releases.
- Containerization: Manage and orchestrate microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement proactive monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to maintain high system availability.
- Security (DevSecOps): Integrate security scanning, secret management (HashiCorp Vault), and IAM best practices into the heart of our delivery cycle.
- Automation: Write robust scripts in Python or Go to automate repetitive operational tasks and IoT data sync processes.
- Site Reliability: Participate in on-call rotations and lead blameless post-mortems to improve system resilience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in AWS or Azure (Compute, Networking, RDS, Lambda).
- Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (Helm charts, ingress controllers).
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python and Bash.
- Networking: Strong understanding of VPCs, DNS, Load Balancers, and Security Groups.
- Database Ops: Experience managing SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred “Plus” Skills
- Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, WebSockets) for real-time hardware communication.
- Familiarity with FinOps practices to optimize cloud spend.
- Previous experience in a high-growth mobility or FinTech startup.
