About the Role
SKYPLUSNEWS.IN is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader to join our San Francisco hub. As we continue to scale our digital news ecosystem, you will be responsible for overseeing a high-performing group of content creators, data analysts, and developers. Your goal is to foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes rapid information delivery and technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Performance: Monitor daily operations and track KPIs to ensure content production meets our high standards for accuracy and speed.
- Mentorship & Growth: Lead, coach, and motivate team members, identifying training needs to help them excel in a fast-paced digital newsroom.
- Workflow Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve internal workflows, integrating automated scraping and RSS management tools to maximize efficiency.
- Strategic Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between your team and upper management, translating organizational goals into actionable daily tasks.
- Conflict Resolution: Maintain a positive, “addictive” work culture by resolving issues promptly and encouraging creative problem-solving.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within digital media, news, or tech startups.
- Tech Savvy: Strong understanding of digital metrics, CMS platforms , and data visualization tools (Tableau or Google Data Studio).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
- Leadership Style: A “lead-by-example” approach with high emotional intelligence and a focus on team empowerment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Management, Data Science, or a related field.
