We are looking for a talented and self-driven freelance video editor to support our marketing and internal content initiatives. In this role, you will transform raw video footage into polished, platform-ready content that reflects our brand identity and resonates with our audiences.
You will work with recordings such as discussions, interviews, webinars, and internal sessions, editing them into engaging long-form and short-form content for marketing, social media, and internal communication.
What You’ll Do
Video Editing & Content Structuring
· Edit raw video recordings into clean, well-paced, and engaging final videos
· Remove unnecessary pauses, repetitions, and off-topic segments
· Structure footage to create a clear narrative flow and strong viewer engagement
Short-form Content Creation
· Cut longer recordings into punchy, platform-optimised clips suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
· Identify compelling moments and convert them into reels, teasers, and highlight snippets
· Transform longer recordings into multiple content formats.
Long-form Video Production
· Produce polished long-form videos such as:
o Podcast-style discussions
o Webinar or event recordings
o Thought leadership videos
o Internal communication and employee engagement videos
Post-production & Enhancements
· Improve video quality through:
o Clean cuts and smooth transitions
o Improved pacing and flow
o Captions, subtitles, and on-screen text
o Text overlays or highlight callouts for key insights
o Basic audio cleanup and sound leveling
Design & Visual Elements
· Apply brand-consistent colour grading, typography, and motion graphics
· Add visual elements such as text graphics, frames, title cards, and lower-thirds
· Incorporate branding elements including logos, intro/outro screens, and templates
Music, B-roll & Additional Assets
· Integrate background music where appropriate to enhance engagement
· Incorporate provided B-roll, voiceover, and visual assets into final edits
Platform Optimisation
· Export deliverables in correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for platforms such as:
o LinkedIn
o Instagram
o YouTube
o Internal communication portals
Workflow & Delivery
· Manage revisions professionally based on concise team feedback
· Maintain organised file naming, project structure, and delivery conventions
What We’re Looking For:
· 2+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a marketing, agency, or content production environment
· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro (After Effects familiarity is a plus)
· Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm
· Ability to identify compelling moments within longer recordings
· Experience producing both short-form and long-form video content
· Basic skills in audio clean-up and mixing
· Ability to work independently and deliver projects within agreed timelines
· Reliable internet connection and your own editing setup
· Strong communication and responsiveness
