Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to support the development of backend services, data pipelines, APIs, and automation solutions using Python. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable and production-ready systems along with exposure to Gen AI technologies and cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, services, and automation scripts
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code following best practices
• Build and maintain REST APIs and background processing jobs
• Work with databases to read, process, validate, and transform data
• Support deployment and maintenance of services using Docker and cloud platforms
• Debug production issues and improve application performance
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development mandate
• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals, OOP concepts, and data structures
• Hands-on experience working on Gen AI solutions including:
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Retrieval-based systems
  • AI Agents
• Experience with:
  • REST APIs
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Git version control
• Hands-on experience of:
  • Docker and containerization
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with leveraging AI-assisted development tools
• Good understanding of production systems and development best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Pandas or data processing libraries
  • Flask or FastAPI
  • Unit testing using Pytest
  • TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Exposure to:
  • Message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
