Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain
advanced business intelligence solutions. The candidate will be responsible for
transforming data into actionable insights, building scalable data models, and delivering
interactive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports for business
stakeholders
• Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M language)
• Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, etc.)
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI
solutions
• Optimize report performance and manage large datasets
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and data security best practices
• Maintain and manage Power BI Service, workspaces, and deployments
• Support automation and scheduling using Power BI Gateway / Dataflows
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams for ETL pipeline integration
• Mentor junior BI developers and enforce best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4–7 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics
• Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Advanced knowledge of:
o DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
o Power Query (M)
Proficiency in SQL (query tuning, complex joins, stored procedures)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas)
• Hands-on experience with Azure (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake) – preferred
• Understanding of data governance and security principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Python / R for advanced analytics
• Knowledge of Fabric / Lakehouse / Modern Data Platform
• Exposure to CI/CD for BI deployments
• Microsoft certifications (PL-300, Fabric Analytics Engineer, etc.)
