About Role: We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to build our product from scratch and lead its development from idea to launch. In this role, you will define the technical architecture, develop the MVP, mentor the engineering team, and ensure the product is scalable, reliable, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with strong expertise in MERN stack and modern software architecture. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who has successfully shipped products from 0 to 1, taking them from concept to market, and can demonstrate real impact through the products they have built. Experience: 4-7 years of experience (Ed-tech preferred)

Compensation: Upto 12 LPA
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end technical development of our product from idea to launch, defining vision, scope, roadmap, and execution.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure system architecture using modern best practices.
- Build and ship the MVP and subsequent product iterations, balancing speed, quality, and technical debt.
- Mentor, coach, and lead the founding engineering team; foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and coding standards.
- Make critical technology decisions (e.g., stack, infrastructure, data models) while aligning with long-term business goals.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of full-stack software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade products from 0 to 1 — from concept, design, and development to launch and iteration.
- Strong hands-on expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and modern web technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and database schemas.
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing small engineering teams (3+ engineers).
- Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Ed-tech or education domain.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant frontend applications.
- Understanding of product-led growth, analytics, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
